#8672
Personal Project
#8672 started off as a personal project to create a typeface and learn more about the process of building a font. Of course the solution wasn’t a typeface.
Based on Morse Code #8672 is a packet-based system of communication that uses a simple four part sequence of circles, squares and crosses in place of a conventional alphabet. It is intended to be used as a broadcast language across vast distances where sound waves are easily lost or scrambled. The execution draws inspiration from many pictographic science fiction languages and symbols.
#8672 is an interesting conceptual look at how the future of communication can be inspired and molded by the past.
